Glen Frear has been working in the Arts since
childhood, working in the Realist tradition. He began working in pencil, producing
large animal portraits most recently. He began working in acrylics in recent years,
and his work now includes intimate landscapes often overlooked in the hustle of modern
life as well as images of the railways that made the continent. He has been involved
with the local arts council for a number of years. He is also one of the founding members of the Whistle Stop Gallery Society, located in the historic train station in McBride BC, where some of his work can be found. More of his work can be found by visting his studio in McBride or Beyond Art and Framing in Vernon BC. |
